Isn't what we are seeing across the world today the extent of man's rebellion against God? It is the bottom line in all that we observe. It permeates every aspect and facet of society and not least among many of those who govern us.
We are witnessing, on a grand scale, the manifestation of the devil's hold on humanity and the outworking of his evil agenda for mankind. It is not about changing gun laws, or prosecuting hate speech, but about us changing our hearts to follow the only One who can help us to do that. His name is Jesus, or Yeshua, and without Him, and the incredible gift of grace which He alone offers to each one of us, we are just treading water and heading towards a lost eternity.
May those of us who know Him continue to pray fervently for those who don't for "God desires that ALL men be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

I'd just like to comment on one of the simpler phrases - the hollowness and deliberate decption of 'leadership after the event'. Funny thing happened to me today. I have withheld saying bad things and thoughts about Mr. Bowen, and guess what? He is no longer on my list of things to carve up at Christmas! He also seems to have abandoned his Port Folio and fled the country?
