British Government Decides to Dim the Sun

The UK Government will begin experiments to dim the sun as the next stage in their fight against global warming.

As if Brits needed less sunshine!

This is not satire. It was reported in the UK Telegraph yesterday.

Of course, not all British people are upse about the plan. On hearing the news, people in Lancashire replied: “What is the sun?”

If the British Government really wanted to lower temperatures, they could lobby China to stop producing coal fired power stations. But they have decided that turning down the sun is easier.

So the British Government is telling citizens, on the one hand, that they will power the country with solar panels while, at the same time, telling them that they intend to block out the sun.

It’s the kind of logic only Greta Thunberg could understand.
