The leftist media suddenly believes in biology and sex again.
I was fascinated to read in the New York Times - and to see reports by CNN - that ancient remains recovered from Pompeii were in fact male, not female as previously thought.
When Mount Vesuvius erupted in AD 79, most of Pompeii’s population perished.
Excavations in the 18th century uncovered two bodies that were always assumed to be a mother holding a child.
But scientists have this week upended that narrative, stating that the adult was in fact male.
How did they know?
Was there a government issued Gender Recognition Certificate found near the remains?
Were the scientists somehow able to determine the corpse’s preferred pronouns?
CNN reported:
“DNA analysis upends long-held assumptions”
And the New York Times, a former newspaper, gasped …
In 79 A.D., a volcanic eruption engulfed a town’s residents. They weren’t all who scientists thought, newly extracted genetic material suggests.
Turns out, the sex of a person is engrained in their very DNA. Who knew?
I think The New York Times and CNN always knew.
It’s just that like our politicians, they pretend not to know what a woman is when it’s convenient to do so.
Lawmakers like former Queensland Women’s Minister Shannon Fentiman - who insisted that “a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman” - can espouse whatever gender nonsense they like.
Bones don’t lie. Not even after 1945 years.
Dem bones, dem bones, dem dry bones… Hurray for the bones!
The dead in Christ will rise first and there will only be two genders rising!
Great story. Thanks James. I saw the Pompeii exhibition that was, I think, in Canberra years ago. It was fantastic.
