Believe Them When They Tell You Who They Are
Sure Israelis are dead. But what’s the context? I hear this question a lot.
Sure Israelis are dead. But what’s the context? I hear this question a lot.
Yes, it’s horrible that Israeli women and children have been kidnapped, raped and murdered.
Yes, it’s terrible that families have been handcuffed and burned alive.
And yes, it’s disgusting that babies have reportedly been beheaded. But what’s the context?
Ah, yes, context.
There must be a reason for all of this. I mean, people don’t just go around beheading babies for no reason, right?
The question of context is obscene.
The very suggestion that there might be some logically coherent reason for the slaughter of innocents - and even of babies - is insanity parading as curiosity.
Hamas took young women hostage and forced them to phone their families so their own mothers could listen to them being raped.
Hamas now threaten to execute hostages. But worse, they promise to broadcast the executions on social media so the victim’s families can watch.
Bleeding hearts in the West, who long ago pathologized evil out of existence, scrape the bottom of the barrel to rationalise the behaviour of Hamas.
Finding nothing at the bottom of the barrel of excuses, they then smash a hole in it and start digging.
Hamas are freedom fighters, they say.
Hamas are lashing out after years of occupation, they insist.
Hamas are simply fed up from 70 year of being locked in an open air prison by the Zionist occupiers, they argue.
And so on and so forth, as if any of those things - even if they were true - would therefore make the cold blooded murder of babies in their cribs somehow relatable.
‘Oh okay, I see why you raped the girl and killed the baby now. It all makes sense,’ said no-one, ever.
And yet we know that none of those descriptions of Hamas are true.
How do we know?
Because we can read.
We can read the Hamas Covenant, released on August 18, 1998 and revised in 2017 as the Hamas Charter.
You can google it. It’s not like Hamas are embarrassed about it.
Ignore the confused rantings of the uni student railing against Israel atop the steps of Town Hall in Sydney, a Palestinian flag in one hand and an Indigenous flag in the other.
If you need ‘context’ for what happened in Israel on Saturday, the Hamas Charter provides it.
The Charter, containing 36 articles of just a few paragraphs each, can be easily summarized …
The complete destruction of Israel is an essential condition for the liberation of Palestine and the establishment of a theocratic state based on Sharia (Islamic law)
The need for unrestrained and unceasing jihad to achieve the above objective
The dismissal of any negotiated resolution or political settlement of Jewish and Muslim claims to the Holy Land
The reinforcement of historical anti-Semitic tropes and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
This is why you cannot negotiate with Hamas.
This is why calls for a “ceasefire” and for “peace” with Hamas are ridiculous. Such things, inherent to us, are simply not in their DNA.
Hamas exists to wage a holy war - ordained by God and sanctioned by their holy book - until the Jews are exterminated.
Or, as idiot Australians have taken to chanting at pro-Palestinian rallies this week: “Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea”.
I wonder what Australian protestors think that chant means?
If Palestine exists from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, where exactly has Israel gone?
The Hamas Covenant provides this helpful answer in its preamble …
“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”
It goes on to say …
“The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”
The above quote is attributed to Mohammad himself and so takes on the aura of divine inspiration.
Hamas are not freedom fighters.
They are not poor souls who have finally snapped under the weight of terrible oppression.
Hamas are genocidal maniacs, fuelled by anti semitism, and inspired by religious bigotry.
Believe them when they tell you who they are.
But, but … don’t Hamas desire peace?
What of the much lauded Two State Solution that the political elite in the West insist Hamas want?
The Hamas Covenant declares …
“There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.”
Good luck negotiating with that!
Those useful idiots in the West - as Vladimir Lenin called them - who march chanting Hamas talking points, pretending they are protesting for justice and for peace, have no idea who they have gotten into bed with.
Or at least, I hope they have no idea, since the alternative is too horrifying to contemplate.
An excellent article.Should be essential reading for everyone in the western world. Thank God for men like you James with the skill, insight and courage to write it.

Maybe if Hamas were labelled as Taliban, people would understand the word "Terrorist". What don't they get? This is horrific and Israel is giving any person who is not Hamas in the Gaza Strip to leave before they drop bombs. I am amazed at the ignorance of those who think Israel is 75 years old, It has been in existence a lot longer than that and because of the Dispora for 2,000, the Jewish people have never lost their nationality. They are unique in History
