Anglican Church Bans 'Heretic' Granny

A grandmother who handed out literature at church denying the divinity of Christ has complained to the media after she was banned from services.

Sue Carlyon, 72, had been distributing a self-published book to congregants at her local church, arguing that Jesus was a man and not God.

After several warnings, the Anglican Bishop of Tasmania told Sue she and her heretical book were no longer welcome.

Well colour me surprised.

The Australian newspaper reported her excommunication with total shock. Big nasty bishop attacks poor old granny!

Sue was de-fellowshipped despite the fact she “voluntarily cleaned at her parish church”, the newspaper said.

That did make me laugh. I mean, who said the devil wasn’t a clean freak?
