The Prime Minister does not want you to see video footage of Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel being stabbed in the face by an alleged Islamic terrorist.
The video might upset you.
Worse, it might make you angry. And we can’t have angry citizens.
Anthony Albanese and his E-Safety Karen have spent the past week demanding Facebook and Twitter remove all evidence of Monday night’s incident.
“Social media companies need to do the right thing,” the PM thundered yesterday, upset that Australians were still able to see with their own eyes.
“It shouldn’t need the E-Safety Commissioner to intervene, to take down violent videos.”
Because the government has a great track record deciding what is good for the Australian people, right?
“Safe and effective,” they said.
Do police get to watch the video of the bishop being set upon? Or do they just guess like the rest of us?
Why must we be forbidden from seeing what happened? Is the PM concerned the footage will upset us?
We are not babies to be sat.
Or is it, as I suspect, that Anthony Albanese wants to hide the truth of what happened on Monday so that people don’t get upset at Islam, or at his government’s lax immigration policies.
The Labor Party have a responsibility to ensure jihadist attacks don’t happen in Australia. Instead, they prefer to ensure jihadist attacks don’t become public knowledge in Australia.
Effectively the PM is saying that we may see the parts of multiculturalism he wants us to see, but not the parts that might cause us to question a policy we have never voted for and that we are all but banned from discussing in polite society.
Watching alleged Islamic jihadists stab Christians might cause Islamophobia.
And we can’t have that.
Of course, authorities could do something to stamp out the vile hatred being spewed against Jews and ‘infidels’ by Imams across Western Sydney.
Authorities could also act against weekly hate marches around the country.
No. It’s easier for them to turn a blind eye to the Islamist hate and instead turn their attention to blindfolding the public.
Let’s be clear about what happened in Australia this week. A Christian leader was stabbed in the face by an alleged Islamist. And the government’s response was to demand citizens be prevented from seeing it.
Is Anthony Albanese trying to protect us?
Or is he trying to protect himself?
As George Orwell wrote:
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
There is another reason for Albo to keep violence off the screen. The response by the Bishop was absolutely Christ-like in its message! The Bishop showed the Imams rhetoric for what it is, Satanical hatred for anyone not following their beliefs! The Bishop called his attacker, my son, and I will always pray for you. Those who hide behind gullible young and push ideology down their throats at worship meetings, were also 'forgiven' by this worthy man of God. To him, forgiveness at the terrible ordeal played out in reality tv, means his life will not have ulcers plaguing him. Those spiteful Imams spew violence, hatred and death to not just the Jews, but here in Australia, us, the Australian people, Atheist, Hindu and Christian and others unwilling to join the "true Religion" that they serve. My suggestion to the Albanese moralistic decadent Government is, in somewhat crude wording, "grow a pair and stand up to the violence and hatred, by deporting any Imam or hate preacher back to the Medieval Past where they belong!" We also do not want any more of these types of people flooding our cities. Period!
As you say James. Very hypocritical and selective. Obviously they have no problem with the Hamas propaganda shown on the evening news every night. Footage of bodies, bleeding hearts, starving children. The last amuses me, after six months nobody seems to be suffering from starvation. They all have their phones charges.
